Dr. Monge graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Diabetes and metabolic diseases at the University of Turin, Italy. He is former head of the Diabetes Complications Management SSD - Diabetic Foot of the AOU Città della Salute e della Scienza of Turin, Italy. He is a Member of AMD (of which he was a national Councilor, Director of the AMDcomunicAzione group, President of the Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta regional section), and is a member of the AMD Permanent Training School. He was a member of the AMD Committee and SID project for the Italian Standards for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. He is the scientific and ECM manager of the Diabetes Care online program (Italian edition). Dr. Monge is a former member of the Diabetes Commission and coordinator of the Regional Network of Diabetic Foot of the Piedmont Region and is a member of the SID-AMD National Guidelines panel “Diabetic Foot”.
